A Small Idea, A Turning Point

Before this moment, I had already tried stepping into the world of coding. A relative first introduced me to it, and I started with a few free HTML and CSS videos on YouTube.

But honestly, nothing clicked. I couldn't connect the syntax with anything meaningful because I wasn't learning through practical implementation. Slowly, I started believing that maybe coding wasn't for me.

The Shiuli Experiment

Then came September 2025. I had captured a shiuli flower photo that I really liked and wanted to turn it into a creative design piece.

My idea was simple — replace the middle "o" in the word "October" with a small shiuli flower. A tiny detail, but something I wanted to create exactly the way I imagined it.

Curiosity Came Back

I asked ChatGPT how I could make that edit, but it couldn't quite understand the exact idea I had in mind.

When I asked how I could do it myself, it introduced me to the possibilities of image editing tools and code. And that was the part that stayed with me.

A New Possibility

I asked a simple question: was there a way to learn coding where I could not only understand the concepts but also practice them through real implementation, quizzes, and hands-on tasks along the way?

The answer was yes. I was introduced to a few beginner-friendly learning platforms that focused on structured learning and practical practice. For the first time, coding felt more approachable and something I could actually learn step by step.

That small curiosity led me to choose my first learning platform and take my very first step into the world of programming. And that is where my coding journey truly began.
